Outdoor Barn Wedding at Kara’s Beauty Barn | Mandy & Micah

From the moment Mandy and Micah reached out to me through Zola, I knew this outdoor barn wedding would be something special. They contacted me just five months before their August wedding and were incredibly thoughtful, kind, and intentional in every step of the planning process. Their vision for a whimsical and romantic outdoor wedding aligned so beautifully with my floral design style and I was honored to bring it to life with our real-touch florals.

Their Storybook Wedding Day

Washington state couple Mandy and Micah tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony followed by a cozy rustic reception inside the charming barn at Kara’s Beauty Barn. Set in the lush greenery of Bellingham, Washington, their late summer celebration was full of golden light, laughter, and heartfelt details.

They said “I do” beneath a rustic wooden hexagon arch adorned with a romantic floral swag that I designed just for them. We lined the entire aisle with lavender roses, creating a soft, dreamy path for Mandy’s walk down to her groom.

Personal Touches & Heartfelt Details

Mandy looked absolutely radiant in a sleek, floor-length gown with a train and buttons down the back. So elegant and timeless!

To complete her look, she wore one of our real-touch flower crowns made of baby’s breath and eucalyptus, which gave her a natural, ethereal glow.

Mandy and Micah’s wedding party wore tones of powder blue and hunter green, colors that harmonized beautifully with the natural setting and late-summer palette.

The couple chose a color palette inspired by lavender fields: calming shades of purple paired with greenery, soft whites, and delicate pinks. At the reception, guests were welcomed with centerpieces in white-painted mason jars filled with our real-touch florals and each place setting featured a sweet bundle of dried lavender as a favor to take home.
